Accommodation and Facilities
25 metres to the unspoilt white sandy beach and the warm blue sea. Landscaped Swimming Pool and spa just a few steps from the open verandah. Beautiful 'Sundowner Terrace ' facing out over the sea directly above the beach. Full length Verandah both upstairs and downstairs. Two Double Bedrooms each with an en-suite tiled Bathroom. One air conditioned Triple Bedroom with an en-suite tiled Bathroom. All bedrooms have mosquito nets Separate Cloakroom. Exceptionally spacious Ground Floor Living and Dining Area each fitted with ceiling fans and tastefully furnished with local fabrics and large traditional Arab/Swahili cushions. A Lamu Style day bed faces out from the lounge onto the verandah that overlooks the swimming pool the beach and the sea. The upper floor verandah area also has excellent views out over the sea with two Lamu Style Day beds (Suitable for two additional guests)and a large recreational area for al-fresco dining. A third Dining option is available under the shade of the Neem Tree in the carefully nutured and maintained garden. Well equipped Kitchen fitted with ceiling fan and a large Fridge Freezer. Your friendly Cook/Housekeeper is Rueben, who will prepare a mouthwatering selection of meals for you. Local farmers with their home grown fresh fruit and vegetables visit each day. Fishermen also bring their freshly caught catch of fish, lobsters and prawns to your door each morning. The magnificent reef, is part of the Kuruwitu Marine Conservation Reserve, a local fisherman's initiative, in co-operation with the East African Wildlife Society(EAWS)and a number of NGO's, offers the very best for snorkling in the huge sandy pools and walking at low tide. Swimming and surfboarding at high tide is great fun. Windsurfing and water skiing is available about 20 minutes drive away at Mtwapa or Kilifi Creek. Ample Parking. Mombasa old town is only 45 minutes drive south. Visits to a game ranch at Lions Bluff in the Tsavo National Park can also be arranged.
